Noche Buena (Single)

Noche Buena 04:36
It was cold the night you made me question my own mind You were bold; you stood out in the open air Wind was blowing White beard flowing Jolly soul glowing in the night Strange and wondrous being appeared in red Were you alive or were you dead? Were you only in my head? Yes, I know, a single sound did not escape your lips Even so, you spoke to me another way Light beamed through me Calling to me I seemed to be in the sky All my life I've wondered what you said Was it all lies, was I misled? Were you only in my head? Was it you or was it me who fled? Slowing down time, a gingerbread sled Two worlds forbidden to be wed Strange and wondrous being appeared in red Are you alive or are you dead? I guess I can always Take some solace In the fact that I'll be back to find out ... And I will ... Yes, I will ... Yes, I will ...

about

Originally released as part of the stellar compilation A KOOL KAT KRISTMAS VOL. 3 in late 2019, I am now releasing "Noche Buena" digitally in celebration of it being nominated for Best Holiday Song by The Independent Music Awards!

You can still buy the whole CD, which you should, because physical product is superior, plus one third of all profits go to The American Cancer Society. Buy the CD here: bit.ly/KristmasVol3CD

As always, listen LOUD, and with the knowledge that "Noche Buena" is only BARELY a Christmas song, and should really be listened to all year 'round!

The Stan Laurels Austin

The Beatles, Breeders, Zombies, Kinks, Cars, and Debussy make up just some of the layers of the Warhol-esque sonic power-pop art painting that is The Stan Laurels, the musical creation of earthling Sound Scientist John Lathrop of Austin, TX, USA.
